Gary Thomson Driving School is a reputable business that helps young people become safe drivers. The instructors, including Rudy, are highly skilled and make students feel at ease throughout the learning process. They excel in teaching parkway driving and parallel parking, and provide follow-up emails for reinforcement. The school is highly recommended for its flexibility and excellent service. Many students have had positive experiences with the school, including an adult driver who had a great memory of their lessons and recommended the school for their children. One student's son was taught by Rudy, who was described as a fantastic instructor who was very chill, which made the student's son feel at ease and confident. Rudy was also extremely supportive and helpful, even during the stress of having to change test dates due to weather, and sent the student's son a congratulatory note as soon as he saw him complete the road test. Another student's son had the best experience with the driving instructors, and the owner, George Clayton, was praised for his excellent communication with parents throughout the process. The student's son nailed his road test, thanks to the awesome instructors and great driving lessons, and the school's prices were very reasonable compared to other local schools. The knowledge and expertise of the instructors were also highly valued.
Jake came to pick my daughter up for her road test on time, he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She passed, and was processed with no issues at the MVC. Thank you for your services!
Five years ago, when our son Andrew got his permit, we contacted Gary Thomson’s Driving School for his driving lessons and road test preparation. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the way they guided us through all of the paperwork and requirements with the state. Andrew had a great experience from start to finish.
Fast forward to today, when our daughter Miranda was ready to get her permit, there was no question who we would call — Gary Thomson’s Driving School once again. We’re happy to say we had the exact same great experience! Professional, organized, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.

My son was afraid to drive. He had anxiety about it, but I needed him to get his license to drive himself to school and to go see his friends, that live out of the area. He completed the 6 hours of on the road with Rudy and Jake. They were kind and understanding. George, the owner even took my son to his driver’s test when no one else was available! George answered all my calls, texts and any questions. They were professional, personable and handled my shy son with care and grace. After his on the road sessions were completed, my son asked me if he could practice! His confidence was high and he is now driving alone! Thank you!!!!
