A classic record store with both new and used vinyl, CD and DVD selections. Staff is both friendly and unbelievably knowledgeable. If they don't have it...the staff will know where to find it! That or it doesn't exist.
I sold my extensive record collection to them and received a very fair price. Everybody I spoke to on the phone was super nice and the gentleman I worked with selling my records was awesome. Could not have asked for a more professional and courteous experience.
The best part about visiting here is taking a portable CD player inside with me... scouring the used CDs for hours... searching for new music based solely on record label alone... taking the CDs over to a slow section of the store (like classical) and giving each track a 30 second listen to determine (usually by track 5) if it's worth the few bucks to take home and explore the whole album. I know it's not everyone's idea of a good time, but I love it and have done that for the last 21 years intermittently... whenever time to travel down there from Bergen County allows. The fact that I can still do that in 2025, and still get a whole album from a band I've never heard...read full review
