Doctor Marlys is a great diagnostician. He is getting ready to have his son take over the practice, perhaps as early as next year. In the meantime, he has decided to go into semi-retirement and convert to a private practice. This means a $1,910.00 payment each year, for anyone who can afford it. The benfit is that the patients who chose to stay, enjoy a fast appointment, and almost no waiting to see him. The cost was too expensive for me. I have been forced to find another doctor. However, my wife's health is such that, for me, paying to have her to continue to be under Dr. Marlys care is important enough. He is the best internist I have ever found. Dr. Marlys is kind, informative and most definitely listens to his patients. He is very good at preventative testing and explaining how to keep yourself healthy. The office staff is first rate as well.
Dr. Marlys is knowledgeable in many areas of medicine, sometimes better than my specialists. He encouraged me to have a surgery that two specialists had termed unnecessary and which improved my life significantly. He most often has answers and, if not, does research to find them. He is very much to be trusted.
