“2 years ago I came across an ad for Royal Fades Barbershop for their Sensory Sunday haircuts. My son has pretty bad ADHD and anxiety so getting his haircut was pretty much a disaster every time. So we wanted to give it a try so we booked an appointment. Adam creates such a calm and welcoming environment. He is extremely patient, so kind and amazing at what he does. We are so happy to have found him and appreciate him more than we can put into words. Fast forward to now, my son looks forward to seeing Adam and getting his hair cut!! Still a little fussy with the cuts at times but nothing like before. His hair always comes out perfect! We get compliments on his hair all the time. “I went to this barber shop on Friday, which was yesterday. I'm basically glad that I did because Owen did an excellent job on my hair. He's a gifted barber for sure. I get a haircut once a month. Just a little off the top and short on the sides. It's considered a traditional haircut. It's $30 and that's relatively cheap compared to other top-notch barber shops. The only issue I had with this place was when I walked in 20 minutes before my booked appointment, the owner asked what I was there for in a stern tone, while I sat in the waiting area. The owner also acted a bit not sure of me for some reason as if he's very insecure about something. Oh well. I didn't let that bother me too much because Owen was really cool and did a wonderful job. That's why I gave him a good tip. The owner is a Yankee Fan like me. I'll give him props for that! I would've gave this spot 5 stars, yet the owner's behavior made me give it 4.“
