“We had a long list of projects at our house that needed work. Montclair Handyman Services gave us a free estimate that itemized each task with the description of work and amount for each task. Their descriptions matched exactly what was needed and the price was reasonable so we decided to hire them. We are so happy we did! Everything went very smoothly and we were more than satisfied with the results.We then hired them to replace the old insulation in the crawl space under our family room that was falling down in places. There is very little room to maneuver and we had no luck in the past finding anyone that would do the job, even the original contractor that had built the add-on. This was a difficult job! They removed the old insulation, replaced it with new, and sealed everything in with hard plastic sheeting to prevent it from getting dirty or falling down in the future. Just what was needed.This company does quality work with attention to details. I highly recommend them.“

“Bergen Backyard LLC was one of many contractors I invited to provide estimates for replacing my 34 year-old, 34'x16' wolmanized wood deck with a new composite deck.Kevin responded quickly with an estimate and revised estimates as I explored design alternatives until a final design was reached. He provided color samples of Wolf Decking (which I had never heard of) and explained the pros/cons of the various decking products on the market. We selected the Wolf products and the two tone design looks absolutely beautiful using the Camo hidden deck fastener system since not a single screw is visible on the surface.From the day I first met Kevin until the end of the project, he and his team were punctual, courteous, and truly professional craftsmen that take great pride in their work and ensuring customer satisfaction with the final product.At the end of each day they spent time cleaning up and left the job site neat. Kevin kept us well informed of his progress and what was to be completed by when. He had estimated two weeks start-to-finish, and even with a few early January weather delays, the entire project was completed in 11 days.
