My Gamma Knife experience at Valley Hospital was nothing short of amazing. The nurses and radiation oncologists were extremely professional, courteous and explained everything in great detail. My doctor, Dr. Juthani, is the best in the business as is her team. The procedure itself was not as daunting or frightening as it sounded. There is some discomfort having to wear a titanium frame to ensure your head is absolutely locked in place during treatment. The results, now over a year ago, has borne positive results with my Pituitary Adenoma showing signs of remission. I feel GREAT!!!
The TEAM at Gamma Knife ARE Amazing! From the 1st phone call to them in 2014 with a diagnosis of a Meningioma; with many visits, consults and treatments along the way; to today they have been considerate, accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, patient and kind. Thanks to them I live a full healthy life and will continue to be under their capable care.
Receiving news that a gamma knife procedure was needed dumped us into a feeling not unlike falling into a bowl of Jello. All of the “w” questions enveloped us…why this procedure? What do we need to do? When do we need to get this done? Where should we go? The answer to that last question, the Valley Gamma Knife Center , Paramus, NJ, was the most valuable piece of information to guide us through our journey!
