“We had a long list of projects at our house that needed work. Montclair Handyman Services gave us a free estimate that itemized each task with the description of work and amount for each task. Their descriptions matched exactly what was needed and the price was reasonable so we decided to hire them. We are so happy we did! Everything went very smoothly and we were more than satisfied with the results.We then hired them to replace the old insulation in the crawl space under our family room that was falling down in places. There is very little room to maneuver and we had no luck in the past finding anyone that would do the job, even the original contractor that had built the add-on. This was a difficult job! They removed the old insulation, replaced it with new, and sealed everything in with hard plastic sheeting to prevent it from getting dirty or falling down in the future. Just what was needed.This company does quality work with attention to details. I highly recommend them.“
“I have a 1912 Home with a lot of old piping. The water intake pipe coming up from the basement floor was leaking badly. Had the Water Company turn off at the street. Called four Plumbers. Three would not work on it after pictures/description was given over the phone.The 4th came out and also would not attempt a repair. All said piping is too old, cant be saved, new line has to be run from the street. The next Plumber I called was Fabian, Angler Plumbing. He said he would come out the next day and take a look. After arriving and examining, he also stated it was an old pipe and may disintegrate when worked on, but he would try to remove the inner rusted pipe to use the connector for the new line.He worked on it till the old pipe was removed. Threaded in all new brass connectors and copper pipe, with shutoff valves. All PerfectHe accomplished very rapidly what four other Plumbers would not even attempt, saving me thousands of $s, and being very pleasant while doing it!Cannot praise Fabian enough!Services: Plumbing pipe repair“

“I am extremely pleased with the professional quality of work that Marcos of Northern Jersey Plumbing performed on my older house. Marcos is an excellent plumber who works diligently and efficiently. He replaced two leaking older toilets (1 had the water tank bolted to the wall from 1966) & leaking kitchen sink pipes. He is dependable as he arrived on time with all the materials needed for the job. Plus he is extremely polite and cares about his work and his customers. I could not be any happier.Marcos was the 5th plumber I had contacted for the leaky toilet where the tank was bolted to the wall. The first plumber was paid to "patch" the pipe with cement and was supposed to bring a replacement toilet. That repair only lasted a few weeks and the original plumber never came back to replace the toilet even after I called to say the pipe was leaking again. The second plumber mentioned that he had never seen an older toilet bolted to the wall before but could replace it and then did not show up for the appointment. A 3rd plumber showed up to fix the leak and replace the toilet. He measured and said he would return with a replacement toilet once he found one small enough to fit the tight space it was in and didn't bother to fix the leak and never returned or answered my calls. The 4th plumber never returned my call. I mention this because these plumbers were all recommended to me by friends and it has been a long and difficult process to find someone willing to work on a small job in an older house.When I called Marcos, I explained the situation to him and he was happy to help. He showed up on time and was extremely resourceful. He measured the area and called his supplier and found a replacement toilet while on the phone in less than 2 minutes. The replacement toilet is a small average size toilet that did not need to be special ordered. Marcos came back the next day and fixed everything. I will definitely be calling him again for all future work!“
