I have been going to Val for 4 years, followed her from her prior salon to Black Velvet and I will literally not go to ANYONE else!!! She is an amazing colorist and has done everything for me from balayage to single processes, short cuts, bangs…and I always leave so happy! My husband also left his barber to come to Val, and Val just started cutting our toddler’s hair too, and she is so good with her!! We all love her so much and could not recommend her enough!

My daughter and I went in for haircuts. It was my toddlers first haircut and she has very curly hair. I was nervous looking for someone cutting her hair. I have a friend who’s child sees Val for her hair and loved the photos she posted, so I made an appt. We were seen right away. Her suite is so beautiful, bright and welcoming. Even my daughter said “wow, I like the pretty lights”. Val was very welcoming and easy to get talking to. I love both of our hair cuts; my daughter looked SO cute and she walked out saying “whew, I feel refreshed!”, just as you’d hope out of any salon experience.
