Sharp and clean and sparkling new barber shop. This is the 3rd location for Royal Lounge. The other two locations are in Raritan and Warren. This alone tells you something if they are adding more locations. The North Plainfield shop is roomy and comfortable. All of the barbers are extremely talented. They would not be there otherwise. My personal barber is Junior who always leaves me looking like I am ready for a magazine photography shoot. Had a situation where I needed to cut off some hair and needless to say, I am no expert and it came out horribly. I set up a next day appointment through Royal's super user friendly scheduling tool and next day met with Junior Elvira at the North Plainfield location. To say that this man.. sorry... this WIZARD saved my hair is an understatement. He saw the mess i made, consulted with me about my needs/wants, i said that i trusted him and he had ZERO hesitation and performed MAGIC. Great conversationalist, super efficient with the cut, and i was out quickly looking FRESH with a great experience! 11 out of 10 would recommend if you're in the area and need a top notch barbershop!
This is a great barbershop that just opened up. I've been going to Junior for a while now while he was in their Warren location, highly recommend him. The new shop looks amazing and I look forward to many more cuts here.
