The eye doctor at Garita is excellent and very thorough—I would highly recommend thrm but the staff is not excellent. I had my eye exam in mid-December, but it’s now mid-January, and I still don’t have my glasses. The office went on a three-week Christmas vacation without ensuring orders were processed, and they shifted the blame to their servicing company instead of taking responsibility. When my glasses were finally mailed, they didn’t even use next-day delivery, leaving me waiting over five days. While the doctor is great, the office staff’s lack of accountability and poor customer service left a bad impression.
I had first gone to Garita Vision Center for myself. They were straight forward and up front about the pricing. They were more affordable then other offices on Bergenline. I had such a good experience I just took both my daughters today. Dr. Garita was so kind towards them and did not rush through the appointment. She tried many options to make sure the girls were getting what they needed. I highly recommend them. The girls can’t wait to go back and get their new frames.
