Tina the owner is a beautiful person. Sometimes you may walk in and she’s busy. However not rude. Meaning she will give you an answer nicely about her next open appointment. If you walk in and she’s available OMG THE QUICKEST, NEATEST BRAIDING. I also enjoy the young ladies she might have with her. They don’t do hair styles they’re not familiar with or techniques. I have 2 braids done. I done had just about everything don. I’m 35 now and I’ve been going to Tina Hair Braiding since I was in high school. Birthdays and even my baby shower!!! I am new to Newark and this is the First shop I have been to. I got jumbo box braids and I love it. I think she’s the Owner that did my hair , she did it EXACTLY how I wanted. Fast and Very Neat. I will definitely be back. Very Satisfied

I showed her the style i wanted but she ended up doing my hair her way. I paid for it because i was leaving the country for vacay. I would go there again but im not paying for something she liked!
