This is my first time getting my hair done at the salon I usually go to the one across the street but because of high demand and the place is always crowded I wanted to get in and get out so I decide to try Nina salon but the lady there that did my hair it's an older woman don't speak much English very very rude I asked her to dye my hair black and instead of putting a dye in my hair that is black to cover up my gray she put a rinse of the color black in my hair and said oh this rinse is very very good it's good for your hair it's not a die that's not what I asked for the rims apparently whatever chemical it is my hair started falling out and I could just just touch my...read full review

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked for a trim and they cut my shoulder length hair to my chin. And it’s a bad cut too. After trying to work on getting the issue corrected or a refund, Nina denied it even happened and offered me a deep conditioner. She stopped communicating with me all together when I told her I didn’t want a deep conditioner. I went to the salon as a final plea and she didn’t care. Now I have to spend more money to get my hair fixed and I’m distraught to get my hair done again.

If you have Afro texture hair please be mindful that depending on where you go, there will always be someone who doesn’t not know to do your hair. The amount of heat used was extremely excessive. I decided to go to this place last minute because I really needed a trim. While the washing my hair part was good, the blowing drying and styling portion was traumatizing.

When you are detangling type 4 hair, you must start from the bottom and work your way up. Unfortunately that was not the case and it was a very bad experience.
