Been going here for years and I finally had enough .. I gave them multiple chances after they PLAYED in my hair several times (parts not straight, saying they know how to do something but they DONT, different size braids) . They are rude and act like they don’t understand you when they been doing braids for how long ?? They complain about length as if i’m not paying for it .. They seem to be hiring people that they know and those people DONT know what they’re doing . They get rid of the ones whose done a great job .. I’m not the type to even make a review but they lost a very loyal customer despite all the nonsense i endured .
Please don't even think about going there. The service is horrible. The lady assigned to braid my natural hair without extensions left my hair about 50 times. I had to beg her to let me go home and sleep before she came back. Towards the end, the owners daughter turned off the light and asked them to use the mirror light, which made it impossible to see anything. They are also so expensive and unprofessional. Please, the hype is nothing. Do not go there; when you see the salon, run — don’t walk, run.
The front desk person with pink hair and glasses was young and unprofessional, she had no customer service experience, she was not helpful and made me feel uncomfortable I didn’t want to stay and spend my money at a black owned establishment.. This is one of many reasons we can’t get ahead… first and last time here…
