My dad spent several weeks at Spring Grove Rehabilitation Center following a week at Overlook Hospital. He was very weak and also grieving the loss of my mom just weeks earlier. The care team at Spring Grove was wonderful. They got dad up and walking around, using the bathroom independently and helped him get stronger with their excellent physical and occupational therapist. He even liked the food! If I ever need a place to rehab for Dad or anyone else that I know in the area, I would definitely recommend Spring Grove. I toured several places before selecting Spring Grove and they are definitely the best choice.
Excellent care of a family member. It is such a relief and comfort of mind when your loved one tells you that they’re being taken care of with out you broaching the subject. I am very happy I found this place. I would encourage anyone considering care for them self or someone else to give this place consideration.
I can't say enough good things about Spring Grove. My cousin John is there, and every single time I leave after visiting him, I find myself thinking the same thing: I am so glad he is there and so grateful for how well he is being cared for.
And I mean the CARE in caring.
The staff genuinely care about the people who live there. They know John. They pay attention to him. If he's isolating, they notice. They'll check in just to talk and see how he's doing, and they seem to know when he simply needs a little space and when he might need some encouragement to come out, join his friends, get involved in an activity, or spend some time outside.
