Today I went to Grove Ave. Salon. My hair hadn't been cut for 4yrs. It was at the bottom of my shoulder blades. I recent saw a cut style I really liked. Showed Hannah the picture. And off she went. I didn't look at all. It's been a trying 4 yrs. But let me tell you, when she was done and I looked up I cried. It was just what I wanted. I love it. Thank you so much Hannah for brightening my day. 🥰

I have been coming to Park Gove for many years!! I have had perms, color, cuts and different styles. Always very happy!! Kim used to do my hair in the past and always did a great job!! I moved to National Park in November of 2022 and was looking for a new stylist/hair salon. I searched locally and came across Park Grove Family Hairstyling. I was unable to find a Yelp page, so I check out their Instagram and Google Reviews. Everything seemed very positive and I love supporting local businesses. I decided to give them a try. I made my appointment through the Instagram messaging app and was able to get in very quickly. My first visit was with Markie for a wash, haircut, and style. She did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and offered advice when asked. She checked with me during the cut to make sure I was happy with the process. It was a great experience and I was surprised by how reasonable the prices were! A few months later I decided I wanted to get highlights. Taylor was the stylist who did my highlights and she did a beautiful job. She took her time and like Markie, made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. I really enjoy my time in the salon because it is laid back and local, not at all pretentious and over-priced. I just went back for a cut today with Markie and realized once again, there was no Yelp page. I had to get one started and tell everyone how great this salon is. They also do men's cuts for a discount on Fridays! One of the things I love most is that I can make a last-minute appointment for the following day. This is important to me because I work two jobs and often don't know in advance what day I will be working from home and able to get out on my lunch break. Everyone is friendly and I can tell this is a close-knit community. They often know the names of their clients before they even check-in. I would suggest giving Park Grove Hairstyling a try if you live in the area and want a new salon. They do quality work at reasonable prices!
