About Mainstream Dance Academy
Mainstream Dance Academy (MDA) is a dance school in Mt Laurel, NJ, established in 2015. MDA emphasizes creating a positive and supportive environment for its students. The academy has been recognized as a top three finalist in the Best of Burlington County Contest multiple times. MDA's instructors are highly praised for their talent and ability to connect with students. The school focuses on building confidence and encouraging students to support each other, rather than competing. MDA strives to make each child feel welcome, important, and proud after every class. As the karate school next door, we truly appreciate having this dance school as our neighbor. Many of our families love the convenience of having both martial arts and dance right here at Larchmont Centre. Several of our karate students also dance — and it’s wonderful to see them grow in both strength and expression.
The teachers here are amazing, dedicated, and clearly care about their students. That kind of commitment to kids and families makes a real difference.

My daughter has been dancing at Mainstream Dance Academy for two years, starting when she was just 2. In that first year, she was so attached to me—she would cry and not want to let go. But thanks to the kindness and patience of the teachers, she slowly gained confidence and began to love being in class. She started with ballet/tap and added hip-hop this year, and the growth we’ve seen in her as a dancer (and as a little person!) has been amazing. Such a nurturing, and encouraging learning environment for dancers of all skill levels. The teachers lead with top-notch talent, compassion, and dedication. It it is run like a well-oiled machine by an owner who sets a fabulous standard for her teacers and dancers alike.
