Before this season I constantly battled with string algae all summer. I seriously considered removing our water feature. AWG recommended water hyacinths be added to the plants I already had when they opened my pond this spring. This addition completely ended my algae problem.
The water is clear and I have not added a drop of treatment to the water all season.
Thanks AWG, you completely solved my issue.
