I have been a patient of Dr Yemini for over 30 years. He is an amazing physician and surgeon. I have had many complicated issues, and he was always there to get me through every step. He is simply the best !!!
The reviews here span from TERRIBLE to good to great. I was nervous after reading these, I won't lie. Even from my initial calls here, I thought "what did I get myself into?" But I was pleasantly surprised. I was referred here to have a hystosonogram done by my OBGYN for heavy/irregular periods, most likely related to perimenopause. My script was given which said to call on Day 1 of my period and to have this done before Day 12. On Day 1 I called. Spoke to someone who set up my information and told me to research the doctors and call back with who I'd like my appointment with. I called my doctor and she said "What?!? There is only 1 doctor that does what your script called for." I called back and was quickly put on hold, and then disconnected. Tried again. And again. And again, and Again. No answer. I decided, hmm let me try from my husbands phone (different number) and BAM they answered ASAP. I was told a nurse would call to schedule the appointment. Friday went by, nothing. I called again and they said I would hear soon. (those that I spoke with were quick & not warm). Monday I sent an email and got a call back pretty quickly seeming suprised a nurse hadnt called yet and she would look into it. I was now on Day 5. Tuesday I got a call, and the appointment was set for the next day. Fast forward to my arrival. I arrived 15 min early ask asked. The girls at the desk were very sweet. They sent me paperwork digitally that hadn't been sent to me previously (which should have but probably goes without saying with those I had spoken with). I asked if my insurance was verified because as I wasn't a patient there, I wanted to make sure that they accepted my insurance and the procedure was covered. This hadn't been done previously so I had to wait while this was done. All in all, I waited about an hour before I was taken back (which I was fine with due to why I was waiting). Dr. O and the nurse in the room with me were wonderful, answered all my questions and were nothing but great. Leaving the girls were sweet, I thanked them, and was on my way. I get the reviews saying the staff wasn't warm/fuzzy, nice, personable etc. and I went into this apt worried but at the end of the day, don't let these reviews scare you off - people treat you how you treat them (most of the time :) Everyone I dealt with today was great (Shaneene was one of them!) and my visit was quick and successful.
I went to several different doctors before I tried the doctors at Diamond Institute. They tested me for things other doctors didn't look for. They helped me have my wonderful son.
