My daughter, Cynthia, took piano lessons at From the Top many years ago and it was a wonderful experience! She had a fabulous teacher who knew exactly what music to give her to keep her engaged and interested. We also enjoyed the many piano recitals that From the Top arranged! And it was a pleasure working with Lisa Plasse, the owner of the studio.

Good and patient teachers. In the beginning when my daughters were deciding which instrument to play, Lisa let them try a few first. In a sanitary way, ofc. Lisa is always helpful and is flexible when we need to make up a missed lesson.

Lisa the director of From the Top (and also one of the studio’s instructors) is a very knowledgeable music teacher and one of the kindest people I have ever met. In addition to her work at From the Top, she is also a professional musician. If you want a safe place to explore your musical talent with wonderful, experienced teachers - From the Top Music Studio is the place you are looking for.

Our highly qualified, experienced instructors teach the principles of the instrument and focus on audition and performance preparation, which is key for any performer. From The Top is proud to acknowledge the number of talented students that have gone on to pursue a career in music at various conservatories, universities and colleges. We are pleased with the number of students that have been accepted to outstanding organizations in the NY/NJ area.
