Total crook. Finally came to do some work and then he Tried extorting me for more money. Called non stop and showed up at my house. We had no contract and no proposal. He decided he needed money. He threatened us and name called. He's dangerous, a lair, and a despicable man.

It has been an ABSOLUTE HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE dealing with Dave Englishman!!! DO NOT BE HIS NEXT VICTIM. He is a liar, awful, rude, argumentative, does not return calls, and has no integrity in his work. This is what you get for hiring the cheapest guy. We should have paid extra and retained a legitimate driveway company to do the driveway. We gave him half deposit. He dug up half of our driveway, called the next day, and asked for more money for the dumpster. He said he would deduct it from the remaining balance, but we refused. He comes and works for a couple of hours and takes a nap in the truck for two hours. He spread one load of gravel on our driveway, but it needs another load. I have to wake him up from his nap. I have called him several times to move his outdated backhoe, which has been parked on our driveway for two weeks. Week after week, he said he will move it, but he hasn't. WE HAD IT WITH HIM. DO NOT USE THIS LOSER !! He should be retired!

Terrible horrific NIGHTMAREEnglishman will give you a reasonable quote, then keep trying to ask all the items he can think about to get extra money. For me, he asked for: 1. dumpster, 2.extra delivery fee to deliver pavers, 3.extra cost for pavers( the same paver, he said his estimate is not enough to cover the driveway, actually he ordered enough, just won't get them delivered at one time) 4. polymeric sand and paver edgeAfter paying him 60% of the whole project as a deposit in October, I"ve used an unpaved DIRT ROAD for 10 weeks.
