I was looking for some type of physical activity that was low maintenance. But, also something that would be challenging for me due to some physical limitations.. After doing some research, I decided to take a stab at a Senior Chair Yoga class. Before I enrolled in the class, I of course had some questions. I spoke with Andrew, who happened to be the instructor, and he thoroughly explained what the class entailed. The price was reasonable and it was what I was looking for. The SoundBath experience at Choice Wellness today exceeded my expectations! My first time treating myself to a complete SoundBath that included crystal bowls, tuning forks and other soothing sound healing instruments that quickly put my mind at ease and transported me to a heavenly place that helped my body feel completely relaxed and and peaceful. The owner, Andrew, is incredibly caring and knowledgeable and makes the experience unforgettable for everyone who takes part in it. A calming guided meditation along with healing water sounds made for an even more relaxing evening!
I started going to chair yoga in May of 2024. I joined as part of my maintenance of physical therapy for my neck and back but it also helps to continue to help my balance and strength issues. Yoga also helps to balance me as a person as I help care for my elderly parents and they need me to be at my best in order to help them. I recommend this for anyone that needs that extra something in their life to help with some health issues, especially joint pain. A major plus is I got to meet new people as I am still a bit new to area of 4 years.
