I bought a rail power 1300 at a train show state fairgrounds in Maryland back in October 2021 .I found out it doesn't work the controller or the box and everything look brand new and I didn't get a receipt for it because that's how they most of them work there you don't get a receipt paying cash but it had all the paperwork in sidebox everything in there so after it didn't work I called model rectifier corporation and they wouldn't help me out even though it has a 5-year warranty on it because I don't have a receipt they wouldn't do nothing for me I think that is ridiculous now so now I got stuck paying $35 for a controller that... read full review

I purchased a used O gauge model train transformer on eBay, and about a month after purchasing it, it failed while I was testing an old post war Lionel steam engine. Thinking it was fairly new, I called Tech support at MRC an related the model of transformer I had and the problem I had encountered...I.e., the accessories side still worked, while the track side (power to the track and train) was gone...totally without power. Well, the gentleman I spoke with at RMC tech support was JOHN, and he informed me, much to my chagrin, that the model I had purchased, the RMC AH501, had been discontinued in 2006! And parts were no longer available! Then John suggested two possible... read full review
