This is the second time Sam Tan has saved a computer of mine. I first was introduced to him 6 years ago when a data recovery company I used referred me to him. I had spilled an entire bottle of water on my MacBook Pro keyboard and Sam was able to completely restore it, replace the battery and return it to me for a very reasonable fee. It is still working despite it being a 2014 laptop. My husband uses it as his backup computer.

TanMax did a very good job for me. My computer crashed on a Saturday morning after weeks of problems. TanMax was able to transfer all my data files and have a new Windows 11 computer ready to pickup by mid-afternoon. Many thanks!

I have been to Tan Max a few times over the last few years. I went one time to have a new battery installed along with software to protect against viruses. Another time I went to have another issue worked on - everything on the computer screen was moving around. Happy with the service both times.
Most recently, this past week, I took my computer in because there was a cracked screen and another crack below the screen. Sam said that he would take a look at it and give me an estimate on the cost of the repairs. It would have been almost as much as buying a new computer so I purchased a brand new one from Sam and also had him install some things and... read full review
