i’ve been a long time customer of Gina’s and have happily continued to patronize her business for at least 10 years now. from Kinky twists, to feed in braids to box braids to knotless, i’ve gone to her for it ALL. first of all, her pricing is very fair, even for more “popular” or “trendy” styles. she has a variety of colors and styles in general that she offers. very flexible on hours as well. like any braiding salon, she has rotating staff that works for her as well that also can do styles. it is a familial environment as well. you can request Gina specifically, but all in the shop are equipped to do styles. as with any small black/woman owned business...read full review

My experience at Gina's was amazing! First, she was there ON TIME for my appointment! She promptly started me at 9am. Second, I requested at least two people be available to take out my small, waist-length knotless braids and she had 3 people available to work on me. Third, she was very mindful of not cutting any of my hair while taking out the braids. Fourth, her pricing was very reasonable, comparable to the braiders in Harlem. Her salon was clean and well kept and she was able to accommodate my request for additional services. I can't say enough good things about Gina's. I will definitely be back again!
