Last week I presented Evan with a big chest piece... It's a peace symbolizing the forever roll a father will play in his daughter's life! He dove right in!

The energy and the vibe of the entire shop is amazing... It's clean, it's crisp it's got great lines. The artists sharing off of each other... It truly a symbiotic gathering of like-minded people attempting to make fantastic art...

I laid down on the table and we began to outline the peace... My daughter, who's so excited for this and heavily inked as well, came in and she was treated with kindness and friendship as she watched her dad take the needle...

The work is incredible so far it's truly a work of art...

Evan is a talented artist. He is a fantastic human being, someone who has a skill set yet is humble enough to listen to the opinions and concerns of the person lying on the table who is about to get there forever work!

2 weeks healing then finish the color and I'm sure this masterpiece will have pictures up soon.

“My experience with Painted Soul Arts was five stars from start to finish--maybe even six stars, if breaking the star barrier is allowed! As a fan of fine line black and grey tattoos, I was not so sure that I would be able to find an artist who aligned with my aesthetic without venturing into NYC. Fortunately, an online search took me to the Painted Soul website and the work of Emrah Ozhan. Although his art speaks for itself, let me say it anyway: Emrah's tattoos are astonishingly good. “I can’t recommend Tsuki (Jeffrey) enough! He did my Gojo tattoo, and it came out absolutely perfect. From start to finish, he was incredibly respectful, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.

This was my biggest tattoo and the session took a long time, but I felt relaxed the whole time thanks to how patient and attentive he was. The studio was spotless, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“I cannot recommend Studio 28 enough. I had done multiple ear piercings while abroad and had been delaying getting them downsized/replaced for a couple of months (holidays, work, end of year, you name it). I had been looking at studios here in America. I asked coworkers about Studio 28 (easily accessible via public transportation for me) and they all had glowing recommendations. Life kept going on until mid January 2026 when I could no longer ignore an irritation flare up. Full of guilt for not coming in sooner and letting the irritation go on for so long, I was petrified but went to Studio 28 as a walk in.

Thankfully they were able to see me and listened to my story. Emily helped me pick out new piercings based on my style preferences. I appreciated they had a great selection based on budget. She was honest and assessed my ear and let me know if my choices made sense. Thank you, Emily, I get compliments for how beautiful my ears look. I never heard of Modern Mood and now the biggest fan.

I don't have enough words to say about George. He listened, sympathized, conferred with Emily and giving her a high five over the earrings selected. Not once did they chastise me or admonish me, but embraced me and disarmed my guilt. He took the time to remove and replace each of my piercings, changing the gauge and choosing the right post sizes. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. I had no idea what to expect when I was walking in, but apparently with my luck, simply the best.

He gave me after instructions for after piercing care. His compassion and infectious smile had me leaving the studio with confidence that I did not ruin my piercing journey. I returned in March 2026 to get the still healing piercings downsized. He remembered all my piercing stories and the symbolism behind them. It made me feel valued and seen.

Thank you, Emily and George and Studio 28 for all your patience when I was a walk-in wreck. Healing takes time, and now I am scheduling a new piercing.
