Marcketta Heating and Cooling is an excellent, reliable, and responsive family business. It is highly recommended without reservation. The team provides excellent service every time for routine maintenance or emergency repairs, even on holidays. They are prompt, hard working, talented, and honest. They offer a reasonable fixed price per unit for maintenance, with minimum charges, and do not require a contract. They sell needed parts at cost and include minor repairs in the routine service fee, making them a rare find in an area where other vendors can seem like they are trying to rip you off. The total bill is often substantially lower than expected. The guys are very friendly, accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond, work around chaotic schedules, explain everything they are doing, and are able to squeeze customers in quickly. They are a local business with deep ties to the community. Many customers have switched to them and report it was the best decision, sticking with them going forward and recommending them to neighbors.
We switched to Marcketta from one of the larger corporations for our bi-annual maintenance plan and it was the best decision we could have made. Mike is extremely skilled / knowledgeable and very reliable. He is a local guy with deep ties to the community and when our hvac leaked today (Christmas weekend) he was at our door in less than 10 minutes and the problem was resolved shortly thereafter. No charge as we are maintenance service customers. He doesn’t even require a contract. Marcketta is a rare find, especially in this area where it feels like most vendors are trying to rip you off. We called a bunch of different HVAC contractors, but most seemed like they were just trying to rip you off (e.g. $175 for the first 30 min and $75 per 15 min after, with no estimate of how long routine maintenance would take). Marcketta offered a reasonable fixed price per unit, sold us needed parts at cost, and included a minor repair in the routine service fee. One of our units needed a new exhaust fan, and the total bill ended up substantially lower than I expected - routine service plus the new fan was about the same price as some other places quoted just for service ?The guys are very friendly and accommodating too. After one of the bigger companies told us we would need to replace our central air conditioner when it just stopped running (at a cost of $10k) we called Marcketta to come take a look. And thank goodness. Mike came right over and within a few minutes diagnosed the problem. And an hour later (after he drove out the highway to pick up a part) it was all fixed and running perfectly— for less than $300.
What can I say but great, professional and knowledgeable service. Would trust with any project.
