I was scheduled for a 7:00 AM service appointment on June 1, 2026, for my 2023 RX 350. When scheduling the appointment, I requested a loaner vehicle in case the estimated service time of 45 minutes to 1 hour exceeded expectations.
Upon arrival, I was informed that, in addition to the oil change, there was an outstanding recall requiring a software update that would take approximately two additional hours to complete. This raises several concerns:

Outstanding Service Recovery – Thank You, Rich!
We had scheduled a service appointment along with a loaner car about a week in advance and received confirmation from the service department. However, when we arrived for service, we were initially told that a loaner vehicle was not available. This was very frustrating, especially since we had another appointment scheduled about 35 minutes away.
Thankfully, Rich, the service manager, stepped in after I explained the situation. He immediately understood the urgency and went above and beyond to help us. Rich quickly arranged a loaner car for us, ensuring we were able to make our other appointment on time....read full review
