About Sunnyside Equestrian Center
Sunnyside Equestrian Center is part of the Park System and offers horseback riding experiences for everyone. The center focuses on therapeutic riding for people with physical and cognitive disabilities, helping them reach their goals. The program is supported by SPUR, a non-profit organization. Visitors can walk around the grounds and see the friendly horses, but please do not feed them. There are restrooms in the main building, which also houses an indoor arena. Picnic tables are available outside. The center welcomes volunteers who want to help with the program and care for the horses.
