Maybe not the upscale establishment with all the frills that you are used to. When I walked in I felt like an episode of "Hill Street Blues." The two young ladies I met were very friendly. Tina was my masseuse. Tiny is a young lady with incredibly strong hands. I walked out of there feeling great. Would I go back? Yes! Are their prices reasonable? Yes! Is it difficult to communicate? Yes! If you don't go there with unreasonable expectations then this is for you. So, why not five stars?, you ask. The services get a five star rating. The atmosphere gets a three star. Hence, the 4 stars.

"I went for the 60 minute massage and it was perfect. I got the hot stone treatment and it was incredible. She was very attentive to my needs and questions. I recently went hiking and my calves were sore and the massage helped with the pain. thank you very much!I have a very practical job that requires a lot of lifting and bending and my back is constantly aching. My back felt so much better after the massage, she was amazing and the whole experience was fantastic."

Ocean Spa was taken over recently by new owners and is now operated as Green Ocean Spa although the sign on the outside of the building has not changed. Some of the negative reviews here seem to be from the old owners. My wife and I have been there multiple times under the new ownership and we have found them to be very friendly and we have always been treated with courtesy. We have received great massages and have become loyal customers. My understanding is the massage fee largely goes to the house and the masseuses rely mainly on tips so we try to be generous although we never have been asked for a tip up front or had any complaints.
