Many participants have had positive experiences with Sago, enjoying the opportunity to earn extra cash through focus groups and studies. However, since the transition from Schlesinger Group to Sago, some participants have noticed a decline in service. Issues have arisen with the payment process, particularly regarding the switch to digital payments, which often take weeks to process. While most eventually receive their incentives, the overall amount paid has decreased significantly, with many studies now offering less than the previous standard of $150. Though support has been helpful in resolving problems, some participants have reported difficulties in communication and follow-up, causing frustration. Overall, Sago still provides opportunities for individuals to participate in studies and earn rewards, but improvements are needed to enhance the experience.
Requested a physical debit card because I prefer to get cash and deposit it in my bank account, rather than gift cards. Request was made October 30th and 48 days later I finally received an e-mail just to confirm my mailing address. It will not be another 2 weeks at least before receiving the debit card. That means it will be over 2 months from study completion to payment date. That is really not acceptable.
The only reason for 2 stars is that the studies are real, usually enjoyable, and the payments are real once you actually get them.
I did a study for them on October 14, 2024 and still have not been paid for my time. Every other market/research company pays you the same day. I called 3 times with no response. Come on Sago do better!!!!!!!

My experience with SAGO was quite disappointing. The entire check-in process was incredibly unorganized and slow. I arrived on time, but ended up waiting much longer than necessary because no one seemed to know what was going on. The lack of coordination was frustrating, and it felt like they didn’t value my time at all. To make matters worse, the staff at the facility had a noticeable attitude. Rather than being helpful or apologetic about the delays, they were dismissive and unprofessional, which only added to the negative experience.
