Very disappointed in this place. Customer service on the phone is excellent. Drs are very good as well. However, the place only wants your money. Not patient centered, if you aren’t going to spend $500+ on glasses, don’t bother. They wouldn’t help with giving me my pd. Went to Walmart after and they measured me in 90 seconds (even though I didn’t even BUY glasses there). They were as shocked as I was that my own optometrist wouldn’t help!
I've been going to Spare Pair Howell for a good 6 years, maybe more, my family as well. For me, suffering from retinal and other eye issues, they're the best. Dr Goldberg is an excellent eye doctor: caring, extremely knowledgable, thorough and and keeps in close contact with my retina specialist in terms of any updates, concerns and/or findings. Stewart, as well, is excellent in terms of assisting you with selecting the best frame and lenses for your needs. Further, making sure the lens is cut correctly and that the frames are fitted correctly as well. The staff as well, is always pleasant, helpful, and knowledgable in addressing insurance coverage. Although one usually gets eye glasses every 1-2 years, it's always a great experience. This location may not have the wide selection as Manalapan, however I've always found a frame that perfectly fits my needs and their service is excellent. Highly recommended.
I’ve Lived in Howell for 32+ years. My eye requirements have been met here. I caution prospective patients not to base their decisions on “posts” from people (or bots) who can’t construct a coherent sentence to pass 4th grade.
