The service provided by Opal Electric (Ed Wood) is such that we consider him our "go to guy" for anything electrical. We had our kitchen remodeled and asked for additional services while he was in our home. Everything was done exactly as we wanted and inspected without any need for change. We recently had a transfer switch added to our home service panel to plug in a generator. On this job, the Township electrical inspector (...our town inspectors are NOTIOUSLY critical, in some cases for good reason based on the work of others...) repeatedly commented "nice job" on every element he inspectied, even complimented the fit and finish of his work. Ed, the owner, is an excellent electrician and extremely honest. He arrives on time. His pricing is very reasonable. When he does work, he is extremely neat and clean so when he leaves, there is no mess to clean up when he leaves. I've had Ed do various jobs over the years from light installation to replacing smoke detectors. I'm always pleased by his work.
