Brodie's Roofing Inc

Brodie's Roofing Inc. is a roofing company that has been used by customers for about 15 years. One customer first called the company on a cold 20-degree day in February when a son noticed the roof leaking in his room. The company advertised in the local West Milford newspaper. The customer called about 11 a.m., and the owner was there with 2 employees within an hour, on a Saturday in February. A 4' X 4' section of the roof was replaced within 2 hours. The owner gave an estimate for the replacement of the entire roof and said it did not have to be done immediately. The roof lasted another 5+ years and never leaked. When it was due to be replaced, the customer called back. The owner had been watching the roof for years and concurred it was time to replace it. The customer requested a new estimate and was shocked to see that the owner did not want to simply go over the roof with a new layer but recommended the removal of the old roof at substantially more effort. The customer trusted this man so much that no other estimate was sought. The job was performed by employees - 3 men and a woman. The work and clean-up were meticulous. The roof is now 10+ years old and has never given a problem. The owner promised an annual roof & gutter cleaning that would be unannounced. True to his word, every year - and sometimes twice a year - the roof and gutters are cleaned. There is never a charge. Two months ago, one of two 37-year-old skylights began to leak at the seals where the glass meets the plastic/metal trim. The owner advised that skylights generally last about 25 years and recommends replacement then as preventative maintenance. The leak did not cause any major damage. The sheetrock just had to be replaced. Both skylights were replaced and, as with the roof, there have been no issues whatsoever. Another contractor was recommended to replace the interior trim which was done meticulously. Brodie's Roofing has been recommended to many friends, and they have all had similar experiences. Other customers in need of a new roof were referred by many neighbors. The crew did an excellent job in a timely manner and at the price quoted. The crew was professional and courteous in all phases of their work. The team cannot be praised enough. The price was reasonable and quality of work was excellent. All aspects of the job were explained and questions were politely answered. The project manager was considerate, knowledgeable and efficient. Cleanup was perfect. Brodie's Roofing would be highly recommended to family, friends and anyone else in need of roof repair or replacement.
