“Wish i can give this salon more than 5 stars. Crystal is an expert. I had keratin extensions that tangled my hair and almost impossible to remove. I checked with every salon in Bayonne and no one was able to do it and Venus salon told me I'd lose half of my actual hair to remove these extensions. Until I went to vanity doll hair. Im so thankful for the amazing work Crystal has done and her patients, I didn't feel any pain when she took them off. Can't thank you enough“

“Love Luxxor! A large group of us essentially took over the salon a couple weekends ago to get our hair and makeup done for a large “fantasy black-tie” NYC wedding. The salon was extremely accommodating and everyone was so nice! I didn’t get my makeup done, but those who did looked gorgeous! Ricky did my hair and he was wonderful and fun to chat with while sipping a complimentary mimosa :). He wasn’t alerted that I had clip-in extensions I wanted to use for my hairstyle, which take more time than he had allotted, but he made time for me and I teared up when he showed me the result (see photo)! “Amanda is amazing! I had been wanting to get extensions for a long time but was honestly really nervous about it. I’d looked into a bunch of salons before and always got close, but something never felt quite right. I’ve been going to Love Lane Salon for a while now, they have such talented stylists, and one day I noticed they had started offering extensions. Since I already loved the salon, I decided to book a consultation with Amanda.

She immediately made me feel comfortable. She was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and walked me through how everything works. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all—no upselling, just genuine care for what would be best and healthiest for my hair.

Even during the actual appointment, I was still a little nervous, but Amanda was so calming and reassuring. And the results? Absolutely incredible. The extensions were seamless. She matched them perfectly to my hair’s texture and color, which isn’t easy to do, and the final look was just stunning. On top of that, she made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

What really stood out to me was how much she followed up afterward. She checked in during the grow-out process, gave me personalized recommendations, and made sure everything was going well. The extensions also lasted a really long time before I needed to get them adjusted.

I’ve been going to Carlos’ Hairspot for the past 4 years and I’m happy with their service. I normally have a haircut with Roman who is very competent, but the other barbers such as Gino (his brother) are also good professionals.

Price as of April, 2026 is $30 which is reasonable. They work by appointment so give them a call before you go.

This barbershop is located in the northern part of Bayonne in a somewhat quiet area so I never have a problem finding street parking.

I've recently moved to Bayonne and I've been to Carlo's 2 times and was satisfied in both occasions.

There are 4 barbers and 3 of them take appointments. The first time I went I didn't schedule an appointment so I had my haircut with Frank who is a friendly and competent barber. He used to own his own barbershop back in the days. He doesn't work by appointments so it's first come first serve.

The second time I went I scheduled an appointment with Roman who is also very friendly and super competent. So far so good! I'll definitely go back!“
