The personalized care plan for my dad was exceptional. Charlotte, the RN assigned to my dad’s care was always available right from the start. She visited my dad at a rehab center prior to his return at home to assess his needs. There she also spoke with the head nurse and reviewed his medical chart. Once he arrived home, she set up aides according to my his/ my needs. The 4 aides that initially came to the house and then 2 regular aides were kind and compassionate. They treated my dad with dignity, and excellent care until his final days. The aides also did some house chores.

To one day find that your loved one has terminal cancer and needs to prepare for the end is unbelievable, but to then have to find help to care for them during this time is a seemingly impossible task. But I lucked out when I first met Charlotte from Home Instead who said she’d find me a wonderful and caring person to take care of my husband. She was so right. When I came home with him from Rehab, Agnes Sarkodie was already at my house waiting. Sierra Pullen is an angel on Earth. She was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the initiative with grace and was extremely diligent at all hours. I cannot emphasize the gift we received when Sierra was assigned to our family. The entire crew who helped our family was amazing. Our nurse, Charlotte,and our Social Worker, Luisa, are to be commended for their expertise, kindness and immediate reaction to our needs. Thank you.
