In 2021, we had a new roof put on our 100+ year-old home in Rutherford and I have been recommending Mayfair ever since. Work was outstanding, done quickly with care and expertise. Communication was great and all was left spotless. Four years later, our beautiful new roof had a soffit torn loose by a raccoon and when I called, Newton sent a crew to repair it that same day. It was fixed before I even got home. I have only wonderful things to say about my experience with Mayfair.
Dave is amazing, super genuine guy that’s really looking to help others. I go twice weekly and since I’ve felt great. Very flexible with scheduling, also stays late. Even flexible with copays. The guy is just real genuine and he’s been there over 40 years so you know he’s doing something right!
I have gone to several lash salons, but I have finally found my home. I absolutely love the way my lashes look when I leave, they hold up well and their schedule is pretty accommodating for an emergency appointment. I usually se Noreen and she’s the best! So sweet, knowledgeable, and patient! Would recommend this place 10/10.
Dr. Mahmudi is absolutely phenomenal. From hijama following the sunnah, to acupuncture, to dry cupping he covers it all. I picked them up yesterday, and Irving took the time to have me sit in the computer using position, and adjusted the frames to perfectly fine tune the glasses! Me, a fragile, hobbling wretch of a women fresh from knee surgery, crumpled like a wet napkin—moaning melodramatically about how I'll never dance again, ride with my huskies again, sit squat again( well still can’t do that YET! ) clutching crutches like they were relics from the Crusades. Then enters Dr Kishan the veritable high priestess of physical rehabilitation, the Bodhisattva of biomechanics.
Now let me be candid—it was torture. Not the medieval kind with racks and hot pokers, but the modern, sneaky sort where your soul is torn between gratitude and the raw, searing burn of a well-executed lunge. Each session a symphony of sweat and suppressed screams. But, as Kishan reminded me—sternly, with the wisdom of a Zen master and the voice of a drill sergeant—“No pain, no gain.”
And by the gods, she was right.
Under his guidance, what began as agony turned into alchemy. The knee, once stubborn as a disgruntled mule, began to bend, to bear weight, to believe. He stretched me, encouraged me, occasionally ignored my Oscar-worthy whimpering—but always with a purpose. His touch is clinical yet kind, his knowledge encyclopaedic, and his patience? That of a saint dealing with a theatrical child.
Kishan doesn't just fix your knee—he resurrects it. Nay, reinvents it. I arrived a broken bard; I left a limber gazelle.
In summary: If you want your recovery sugarcoated and cuddly, go find a spa. But if you're ready to walk the path of righteous rehabilitation—with grit, grace, and a bit of glorious torture—Kishan is your guru. I now kneel (yes, kneel) in thanks.

Ania is so great! I always get my hair done by her. She explains the process thoroughly and always maintains my hair as healthy as possible when bleaching.
Their staff is very nice, especially Brianna, who assists them with the hair washing. She was very gentle when I told her I have a very sensitive scalp.
Shannon helped me out and did an amazing job! She was very friendly and super cool to talk to. She helped me figure out what I wanted to do and did a very thorough and impressive job. Would definitely recommend!

Bergen IT totally fixed the spotty cellular connectivity Wifi issue in my Mothers House. Now I have no trouble reaching her anywhere in the house
Barber/Stylist was Rob. The haircut was for my son who is a great guy but a tad shy. His haircut was kind of a dress rehearsal for his sisters wedding in late October. The biggest compliment I can give to Rob is that after his haircut, I could tell by the smile on my son's face that HE knew how good he looked. I have to give Rob huge credit for that. It wasn't just the haircut either. Everyone at The Stag House was extremely friendly and welcoming. We already made a follow up appointment two days before his sisters wedding. I cannot Thank Rob and The Stag House for a terrific experience.

The highlight of Highlights n’ Hair Design was having Sandy cut my hair. She is an artist and sculptor of hair, considering how the face is framed by the perfect cut. I highly recommend her!

The past Saturday was the luckiest day for my little baby. My baby is 4 months old, she has been struggling with eczema for 2 months. Her pediatrician told us to apply the over the counter cream and moisturizers 3 times a day, we’ve been doing it but she is not getting better at all especially her face got so bad on Saturday morning. We went to ER, we were told that nothing could be done by ER doctor, he recommended the dermatologist - Dr. Dosik. I looked up online, I found his office is open until 1pm on Saturday(that was wrong information on google), I called the number to see if he was able to see my baby on that day. I was told that I would be receiving a call shortly, I also told them that my baby doesn’t eat well or sleep well. As a first baby of course it’s an emergency for the parents. After the several calls, I got a call from his office, a lady called and connected Dr. Dosik to me. I told Dr. Dosik about my baby’s situation and he said his office was not open on Saturday, the google was wrong and sounds like he is outside or driving. I was so disappointed as I couldn’t see him right away. After he listened what I told him that my baby is being suffered a lot, couldn’t eat or sleep well, he told me to come to his office in 30 mins. I couldn’t believe what I heard. I told my husband and dressed my baby and headed to his office. He was at office already and of course no one was in the office, He looked over my baby and he smiled and told us “its not an emergency, I can say she is moderate but since she is your first baby, I understand.” He prescribed 2 ointments for the eye area and the rest of affected area. In case the medicine is out of stock, he gave a call to my pharmacy to confirm, he had been held on for a long time, he was so patient. In addition he gave us a coupon for one of the ointment which is $232, we have insurance but he said it may need the insurance authorization and it takes time, he wanted us to get the medicine on that day, he gave us a coupon to use, with the coupon, it’s only $35. He amazed us, my husband and I were so touched by him. Fantastic! Amazing! My baby is getting better now, she eats better and sleeps better. If I could, I want to give him as many as STARS ! Highly recommend such a caring, professional doctor! Our family really appreciate you, Dr. Dosik !

I recently came into Gracie’s needing a dress cleaned on short notice for a family member’s funeral, and he could not have been more kind and supportive. My 2 sons have taken lessons at Architekt Music since they first opened in Glen Rock, on various instruments with various instructors. They have always been happy with their teachers and have progressed beautifully. Architekt's admin team is a dream....no matter who I speak or email with, they are super responsive, accommodating, and kind. Both the Glen Rock and Butler studios are beautiful and I love going to see the end of semester shows at the Butler stage. Their prices are very reasonable and I appreciate that they don't require you to sign up for an ensemble class, unlike another local music franchise with the initials SoR. ;) I will never forget how seamlessly Architekt pivoted to virtual lessons at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. I was so grateful to them for quickly offering lessons via Zoom so that my sons could keep their routines during a very scary and uncertain time. Shout out to instructors Alex (guitar) and Janine (piano) for making such a great impact on my boys. I highly recommend Architekt Music!

Very pleasant experience with Dr. Dosick’s practice. Warm welcome, no wait, received straight forward answers to my questions. Excellent bedside manner and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. As an insurance broker I’d like to point out that many dermatologists don’t contract with insurance providers so yes, you can expect to pay out of pocket. The rate for a visit/full body screening is reasonable and customary for Glen Rock NJ. The receptionist does a great job explaining at the time or booking and will provide an extra copy of your receipt which you can submit to your insurance for a potential out of network reimbursement. You may also use FSA or HSA funds.
I needed two items altered for a wedding within relatively short notice. They were so accommodating and friendly and exceeded expectations. I am so happy I found this place!
