About Accent on Eyes
Accent On Eyes, located in the Collegetown Shopping Center in Glassboro, NJ, offers comprehensive optometry services, including eye emergencies and scheduled appointments. Dr. Berger, who started the practice in 1982, is known for his thoroughness and patient approach, creating a welcoming "retro" feel that contrasts with typical corporate offices. Many long-time customers appreciate his attention to detail and the ease of scheduling appointments. While the practice is praised for its quality glasses and eye exams, some customers have voiced concerns about a specific machine used during exams, which can cause discomfort. Additionally, there was a past incident involving communication that left a negative impression on one customer, raising concerns about treatment for those with different language backgrounds. However, the staff's professionalism, particularly a kindhearted technician, has been acknowledged positively. Overall, Accent On Eyes remains a valued choice for eye care, blending a family-oriented atmosphere with quality service, while continuously seeking improvements in patient experience. They are open Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM.
Good place for new glasses and eye exam except for that one annoying Machine that they have for the eyes it makes the eyes very watery and uncomfortable in my opinion and hopefully in the future they will eventually change that machine into something better like for example a eye scanner or something that would not make your eyes to watery whenever you do that kind of machine.
I’ve been going to Dr. Berger for years! His office has this “retro” or “Family Eye Dr” feel to it. Definitely not a “cookie cutter” brand office. He started his business in 1982, but don’t let that fool you! Dr. B is thorough, takes his time, is patient, & attends to any and every concern that may arrive with my eyes. Plus, it’s easy to schedule an appt right away and you’re in, out, & done!
