Here at Deer Run Revamps, we focus on bringing old quality pieces back to life. Furniture is no longer made with quality products, it's all manufactured and compressed wood. And if you do find a solid wood piece at a furniture store, they are so far out of most people's price range. Solid wood furniture lasts for generations, it can be sanded down and refinished numerous times! That's why we see furniture regularly from the 1800's and early 1900's. Pieces nowadays, you're lucky if you get 10 years out of them! The craftsmanship and character that these older pieces poses is something unheard of in today's furniture market. Above all else, saving these older pieces from the landfill is great for the environment 😁
