2019: back to see Sho and he's still amazing. And the whole team is fabulous -- kind, welcoming, and diverse with a great array of clients. Such a happy customer :) 2018: I first came to the salon a couple of weeks ago for a treatment and a cut. Everyone was incredibly courteous and they helped to find me an appointment later in the evening, which I really appreciated... Unfortunately, while the treatment was pretty good, the cut was not. I liked the place - clean, modern and well designed and the central location - so I decided to send them an email saying I was disappointed. Raul is not only a great stylist but also a fantastic friend. He always makes me feel like a star from start to finish. His expert cuts never fail to add dimension and movement to my hair. The last time I was in the studio, he and Tina worked together to decide on highlights. This would've been my first time experimenting with color. They actually decided NOT to color my hair because they didn't want me to spend money if it wouldn't make my hair look better. Now THAT is the kind of honesty you want from your hair stylists. This dog-friendly studio is clean, trendy, and inviting. I definitely recommend you stop by!

I've never written a Yelp review before. My haircut with Sho (www.instagram.com/sho0201nyc) today was just that magical. He's observant, meticulous, patient, and knew exactly what I wanted without me having to articulate it. I've never felt this good about my hair before. A life-changing experience.
