Our 5 year old son is special needs and has always had issues sitting still for doctors, he wrestles, kicks and bites. Needless to say we were dreading taking him to the dentist. I was expecting to have to hold him down by force just to be told they couldn’t do the exam. But then Dr. Rooney came in and connected with him like no doctor ever has. He was incredibly patient and kind. He made a point to keep my son calm and happy. And amazingly, we were able to not only do an exam without him being held down, but X-rays and cleaning his teeth, all with a big smile on his face. I was so impressed and relieved! I cannot recommend this dentist enough! Especially for special needs kids, who need the extra time and attention. They are amazing, especially Dr. Rooney!
