Brian Rickenbach is as professional as it gets. From the beginning he gave me a timeline of when I would get my quote, called me as soon as he sent the quote, followed up with questions and had the job scheduled within a few days. Monks handled a multitude of projects for us: trim work, door installation, window installation, painting. I wish I knew about them before we redid our whole kitchen. I am extremely meticulous and asked for a few minor things to be fixed and Brian right away agreed and had it fixed for me without hesitation. I wouldn't hesitate to have them do all our home projects, big or small, for us. The whole experience was extremely smooth - Brian answers all calls and emails right away, which was important to me. Our house was also left spotless after all projects.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Trevor Monk, Brian Rickenbach, and all of the guys from Monks!! Brian and Trevor were a joy to work with. They and their team redid our entire basement quickly, efficiently, and professionally (after another builder spent over a year at our house creating a disaster of a mess down there). They had to tear nearly everything out that the other builder had done, re-do all the woodwork, order/rehang doors, and prep and paint all of the walls…and they did all of that in less than a week! And it looks amazing! And all in time for the holidays! And their price was reasonable too! Truly a Christmas miracle! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future!
Monk’s just completed our master bath renovation in August and we have already booked them for a renovation of our kids’ bathroom! They were absolutely amazing - from start to finish, and everything in between. We worked with Zoriana in Fanwood on the design; she meticulously picked out every single product, with great attention to detail, taking our vision (from an “inspiration pic” on Houzz) and making it a reality. Between the fixtures, the tiles, the mirrors, the cabinetry, all the way to the grout selection - it’s all beautiful and we loved everything that Zoriana picked for us. And then Jarrett and his crew flawlessly executed on the design. From the demolition to the final touches, the work product was perfect. The team was professional, clean, organized and flexible, and really made the whole construction project super easy and convenient. We could not be happier with how our master bathroom turned out. And as I said, I didn’t wait long to book them again for project #2. Every person at Monk’s was a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend them!
