This dry cleaners is a fickle beast. Its prices go up and down faster than the stock market, and usually land on the high side. But when one needs a clean suit for a meeting with the boss, one does not quibble over the cost.The woman behind the counter is a stern taskmaster, her eyes scanning every inch of the garment for stains or blemishes. She wields a sharp tongue and a sharp pencil, both of which can cut a man to the quick.But when the suit is returned, pressed and pristine, one cannot help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The crisp lines, the fresh scent, the absence of wrinkles - all signs of a job well done.In the end, one must weigh the cost against the benefit. Is it worth paying a premium for a job well done? Or is it better to take one's chances with a cheaper alternative? For those who value quality over quantity, the dry cleaners on Main Street may be the only option.

I am somewhat taken aback by the two reviews which precede mine here, as I have found these cleaners diligent and conscientious. I have provided at least a half dozen alteration and repairs projects as well and have found the work very well done--with requested delivery timeframes routinely accommodated. These observatons are not offered lightly, as I am a very picky customer who all too often finds service establishments falling short of seemingly reasonable expectations.
