John is a nice guy. He has done good work on our home like installing lights. The only problem we had was and he is not consistent with getting back to us. It seems like everyone here has the same issue so it's not an isolated incident. We have requested a quote, advice via text and phone call but there is no follow-up, call back or text back despite numerous times we have reached out to him. He just says he will get back to us but does not get back to us. This was requested last Tuesday and he told us he would get back to us that evening. It's now Friday and no followup.
September 2017
My central air conditioning stopped working. I called John because he is both an electrician and an HVAC repairman, which means that if the problem is with the electric wiring of the house, he was qualified to fix it. His fee for visiting was remarkably modest -- $90. I watched him as he took apart the big metal box outside the house. He was careful and methodical and clearly knew what he was doing. He found several parts that needed replacing, but recommended we get a new unit, as ours is 32 years old. He was courteous and explained things well. He struck me as honest and ethical, and I would certainly recommend him to a friend.
He will never finish the job
