For many years, we worked with a NJ based security company. They were great. They were then bought by Securitas. Since then, the service has been woeful. When an alarm goes off, they do not call us. They send texts. When you call back to inquire, it takes 15 minutes to get someone. Today, we changed providers. What a relief.
I gave Securitas one star in order to write a review. They deserve zero stars. Securitas has been a waste of time, money, and aggravation for us. My calls are not answered in less than 15 minutes, trying to obtain confirmation of emergency repairs to their equipment. Service technicians are given 2-3 assignments per day. After 5:30 there is an exorbitant service fee. They are hourly workers. I suggest looking elsewhere for a security company, as will we.
Don't come here unless your retired or living with your parents. This isn't a place for talented skilled people. They will shit all over your loyalty. They will attempt to screw over your pay and hours. I wouldn't refer my own mother to this company who has worked over 15 years in security. This place is trash. They do not know how to effectively communicate and want to reprimand the only reliable workers they have by screwing them over every chance they get. They will never give you a livable wage but want you to float around and constantly be a on call 24 hour warm body whenever someone decides not to come in.
