Great place for a family outing.This place is not for golf snobs. It is a casual place with imperfect greens and plenty of rough spots. That and the very friendly and thoughtful staff, however, are why my kids and wife and our friends love playing here. We never feel rushed, or feel stressed about perfect etiquette. It’s a big beautiful course, with lots of open sun and the occasional family of deer grazing in the distance. What’s not to love!

Staff was nice, course conditions were better than I expected due to other reviews but we’re still rough. Overall a beautiful layout with great history. Definitely in need of some major improvements but for your avg hack player it’s a good time

Part of me wants to put 5 stars just because. But there's always room for improvement. Clearly from the other negative reviews. But honestly I really enjoyed my time out here on this beautiful November Saturday. Aside from the leaves ? (which is basically not being addressed on any public course) this place was really nice. Tee boxes were fine, I've seen way worse. People also made it sound like everything just blended together. Which I don't think was true. There was a fairway, the rough seemed normal, and the greens ran true. For a 6700 yard course and only paying $55 I think this place needs to get a little more credit. I'll be back for next spring.
