East Hanover Barbershop is an amazing place with friendly and professional staff. The shop is very clean with a dapper vibe. The team is kid friendly, knows how to keep children busy, and always delivers a perfect haircut. Walk-ins are greeted with open arms. Customers are extremely impressed with the time taken and the final look. The service is top tier from start to finish, super friendly and welcoming. Barbers offer great suggestions and understand what clients want right away. Many customers have found the most skilled barber in North Jersey here and will be coming back. The fast service and skilled work make it a highly recommended spot.
After going to the same barbershop for about seven years, I recently found myself looking for a new place, and I’m extremely glad I came across East Hanover Barbershop.
I called ahead to ask if they accepted walk-ins, and the gentleman who answered the phone told me that they actually operate on a walk-in basis. With my unpredictable work schedule, that was exactly what I was looking for. Even better, I realized the shop was only a few minutes from my house.

After moving from Brazil to the U.S., I’ve tried a few different barbers, and Dave has been the best by far. He takes the time to understand the style I’m looking for and always delivers a great cut. The service is friendly, the prices are fair, and I really appreciate the convenience of being able to walk in without an appointment. I’ve finally found my go-to barber and will definitely be coming back.
My regular place closed and I have been in search of a new barber for a couple of weeks now. I wandered in on a whim and I'm glad I did.
The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, and even though they were busy with clients, there was a constant patter and interaction with those waiting. I wanted for about an hour (not unexpected for a holiday weekend) and it seemed that everyone was a regular.
