I have been seeing Dr. Licitra since 2010. Following the removal of my spleen. Then again in 2019 when I was diagnosed with DCIS. The staff at Astera are exceptional, as is Dr. Licitra.
The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. I had Lisa and she was incredible! I'm now in radiology and I just have nothing negative to say about them. Everything along my journey has been systematic and smooth so far. I'm blessed to have this team.
I had seen Dr. Reid in the office over 2 months ago telling me That I May have an active cancer. He sent me for testing and I have not heard back from him I called the office finally and was told he would call me after seeing his patient at 11:30 in the afternoon it's now the next day and I still haven't heard from him. I let them know how anxious I was too, walking around not knowing if I have cancer or not and having to take anxiety medication now Because my nerves are shot. This Man needs his license revoked!! Even my primary and other Dr's. involved are disgusted with that kind of care. Stay away from him and demand another Dr. if you're given him. I know I m not the only patient with the same problem as per his reviews others say the same!!
