I have known Kristen for about 15 years! She has been doing my hair forever. This girl knows hair color! She is constantly expanding her education in hair color too. I always trust her judgement whenever I go. After she is done I always get compliments on my hair color whether dark or light!

I switched to Kristen about a year ago, and I couldn't be happier! I have thick curly hair, and I've never had a bad haircut with Kristen. Earlier this year, I also wanted to change my look more drastically. So I showed her my inspiration photo, and she ran with it. I've had so many compliments on my hair, and for the first time in years, I'm happy with how I look.
The salon is small, it can only fit 2 people at a time, which is a plus for me. It feels homey and welcoming. (It's also so clean and always smells nice!)
Kristen isn't the cheapest cut in the area, but she's worth the extra few $$. Over the last 25 years, I've tried $200 haircuts in NYC and $35 haircuts… read full review
