Short and simple. My hair was dry and needed a trim. Went in for a silk wrap and trim. Went home happy. My hair feels so much better and my confidence is back. Janen did an amazing job. You can tell she loves with she does. I will continue to go back.
I never thought I would see the day when I did not need a relaxer. I've been coming here for two years and now I can proudly say," I am natural" (no more relaxers since 2021...thank you Star D). It was the best thing that could've happened to me. I feel like I'm spending time with family. There's nothing like a good laugh, nice conversation and a friendly and professional environment, (Janine is hilarious and an awesome stylist). I am so grateful for every last one of the beauticians, especially the owner (Nekeia the Grand Diva of stylist). Brittany is aaaamaazzzing (and my stylist), Kiara did a wonderful job when I went to Vegas for my 50th (I was cute) ... I take my hat off to every last one of those ladies (they are all talented) ...... nothing but Shear Essence. Thank you for making me feel oh so beautiful every time I leave the salon! #ACUSTOMER
After doing my hair myself for decades I began to neglect, over process, and heat damage my hair. I looked for a natural black hair salon, read reviews and booked with Shear Essence. When I walked in the ambiance was very welcoming and my hair technician Janine did a wonderful job. Her knowledge was on point and her personality was amazing.
