We had a wonderful experience building our home with Schaeffer. Not only were we building a home for the first time, we were also first time homebuyers. Schaeffer guided us every step of the way and made the process as easy as possible. From finding buildable land to designing our home, there were so many decisions to be made and everyone was super knowledgeable. Even when we encountered bumps in the road, Schaeffer stepped in and was incredibly helpful. Our project manager, Maria, was top notch. Truly made the building experience fun and exciting. This was our first time building a new home. The process took around eleven months. Schaeffer has plenty of floor plans to choose from. Our sales person Ashley was very professional and by the book. She made our experience go smoothly. Our contractor Jason was awesome. Building a home can be expensive. I understood why some of their fees were in place for customers who change their minds a lot. The only thing I can honestly say is sometimes communication was lacking with emails, text, and phone calls. In the end, our home was perfect.
